The Microsoft's new Zune 120 has got almost everything. The high storage capacity is one of its amazing features. With the new Zune 120, it is possible for us to take our music, movies, videos, podcasts, pictures and games. These features are all wrapped up in a wonderful small player.
Capacity
The high memory capacity of 120 GB can hold up to 30,000 songs or 25,000 pictures or 375 hours of video which is really a delightful feature of this small player. This memory capacity is really good to hold lots of pictures.
Screen Size
Zune 120 is perfect when it comes to portable video viewing with the featured 3.2 inch colour screen giving good picture clarity. The video is best viewed when converted with the Zune software.
Headphones
Videos are great when viewed in good quality screens. Similarly premium headphones are very essential for music. The Microsoft's Zune player includes premium headphones. These are designed to block the external noises.

The Good
The Zune 120 has a moderately large screen. This screen is good for watching videos. The new Zune 120 has a good storage capacity. The storage capacity is about 120 GB. The sound rating is equally good. With the Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11b/g), you can transfer songs between Zune players. The Zune player comes with the Zune software which offers one step video conversion and transfer of songs.
The music on Zune 120 is based on 128 Kbps Windows Media Audio (WMA) file. Pictures can be optimized and transferred to your Zune player of your screen size with the provided software.
The Bad
The main disadvantage of the Microsoft's Zune player is that the content can only be transferred with the provided Zune software which further will not convert the AVI or MOV files.
Areas that can be improved
Zune pass subscription is a must, to use many facilities. Any content like image or music can be transferred only through Zune software. The software supporting AVI or MOV files conversion can be added.
Verdict
Microsoft Zune 120 is a very good iPod with high quality audio output, good wireless synchronization and an excellently tuneable FM radio. Zune 120 has the best FM tuner technology. Added to this there are additional facilities like one step video conversion.
