This technology now attracts many youngsters because of its outdoor use. The screen can be more vividly seen even in well-lit places. This powerful gadget has highest contrast ratio when compared with the other PSP's.
This cool gadget has more advanced features. Now Sony PSP slim and Lite 3002 comes with built-in microphone which makes the Skype communication on the air easy. The vibrant colour display makes it to gaze the gadget. The Skype communication is made possible with the built-in microphone. The screen has a high resolution 4.3 inch wide screen.
The component AV cable (not included in PSP) allows you to play games on your LCD's. With the new Sony PSP slim and Lite 3002 we can browse the internet and we can have a convenient voice chat over the internet with the inbuilt Skype software.
Performance
Sony PSP slim and Lite 3002 support variety of audio formats. The popular audio formats such as AAC, ATRAC, MP3, and WMA are well supported in this cool gadget. The notable image formats that are supported are GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and BMP.
The Media Manager software for PSP is provided and the version information is 3.0.0.892. The Media Manager manages all the songs and the videos in the Sony PSP. The Media Go 1.1 build 240 (131 MB of size) is also provided with the new one. The notable feature is its compatibility with the WMP (Windows Media Player).
The supported video format is MP4. The Sony PSP has got a screen resolution of 480 X 272 which is very good with vivid colours. The video quality in Sony PSP is comparatively good. The audio quality score is 78, based on the various researches conducted by our team. The battery in Sony PSP holds up to 5 and half hours which is very cool.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
The main advantage of the Sony PSP slim and Lite 3002 is that, apart from gaming, it can also extend support for videos and can play music. The Wi-Fi connectivity extends the game to more than one player and the attached microphone allows chatting with the connected user. This microphone feature must be supported by the games for the players to chat.

Controls
There are four keys on the left side of the PSP. These are the direction keys. The keys on the right are the function keys and there are indicators for the Wi-Fi connection. The screen with the above mentioned display gives good clarity while playing videos.
The Good
The Sony PSP slim and Lite 3002 have a large screen supporting wide range of colours. This gadget has a very good video rating. Another cool feature of this ultra slim gadget is its support for windows media player.
The other feature that comes in handy is the Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11b only). Its support for user replaceable battery is yet another remarkable feature. The duo slot for the memory sticks supports dual memory card for large memory. This gaming gadget gives its best while it is for gaming.
The Bad
Though this PSP has its own countless cool features, there are few points to be noted which would be good if provided. Earphones are not supplied. This is a very useful and essential one when we travel with our PSP. The USB cable is also not provided which resists copying games from our PC.
This stylish attractive gadget seems relatively bulky holding all these features. Another point to glance before getting a brand new Sony PSP slim and Lite is the Memory Stick Duo (M2). It is also not supplied with the purchase.
Areas that can be Improved
Certain accessories like earphone and USB cables should really be included. The model is quite bulky by today's standards and could have been modified better to attract younger users. At least minimal amount of onboard memory can be added
Verdict
Sony PSP Slim & Lite 3002 could be rated excellent, considering it as an overall package. The PSP's overall score is 78%. The audio quality is extremely good. This is one of the very few players that comes with a stylish outer design which is very refreshing to look at. Though there are some drawbacks this is undoubtedly one of the best players available in market today.
